From what we learned from chapter 8, is the SRO program helps to prevent school violence? Or it is just a “sounds good program?” Please offer your critical and/or evidence-based arguments. As questioned by the textbook authors, does more SROs on campus may intimidate the parent-school relationship? Why or Why not? 3. School violence, especially serious violence, can be quite difficult to prevent. It takes great collaborative efforts from all parties to prevent them from happening. What do you think can be strengthened in the SRO program so that the collaboration among school administrators, faculty, staff, students, and SROs can be more effective to prevent school violence.
